Another fall favourite, Chai-Spiced Pear pie is sugar and spice, and everything nice.


Ingredients: Flour, butter, sugar, pears, cornstarch, spices

Chai-Spiced Pear

  • Bake from frozen. Preheat oven to 415F, and place a drip catcher at the bottom of your oven. Egg-wash crust (or our family favourite is a honey-wash *1tbsp water, 1 tbsp honey), and place in the oven for 15 minutes. Lower the temperature and bake for another 60 minutes, or until the crust is golden, and the filling bubbles. Ovens vary, so be sure to keep an eye on your pie in the last 15 minutes. Cover the crust with a shield, or aluminum foil if it looks to be browning too quickly. Once done, let the pie sit for about an hour to allow the juices to set up. Enjoy!!
